Hi, I fixed the problem :) There must have been a faulty "F" or coax connector as I replaced all of the connectors with Snap-N-Seal "F" connectors using my Augat IT-1000 and the tvLINK is now working fine :) Thanks.

Hi, Yes - that is the first thing I checked. I have established the tvLINK is OK as I connected it directly to the Sky+ box and the IR functions correctly. If I connect the uplink cable to the cable feeding the room with the remote tv using a f-barrel connector the IR on the tvLINK functions...

Hi, I have fitted a Labgear HDU681 distribution amplifier in the loft. Since this has infra-red pass through I assumed my existing tvLINK's would be suitable to control the remote TV's. The tvLINK LED is on and the picture on the remote TV's is excellent. I cannot however control the Sky+ box...

Unfortunately the overhang >12" with the guttering - Anyone know where I could source a made to measure set of T&K? Do you think the scaffold pole is overkill and I could use something smaller (lighter)?

First thing I did. Just wanted to make sure the t&k/scaffold pole combination would keep the dish firm as it will be ~4ft above the gutterline.

Hi All, I need to mount a minidish on the side, towards the rear of my house, above the gutterline to ensure a clear line of sight. Would 18" T&K brackets with a scaffold pole be suitable for the task?

Thanks for all the replies... I think I'll forget the LNB extension bracket and meccano set, and instead go for a second dish just for the Sky+ Any idea if the second smaller dish will require plannig permission if it's installed in the footprint of the larger dish? At least with this option...

Thanks for the eBay link. Just had a reply from the seller and apparently Astra 2 will not be visible with the LNB holder, just Sirius, Hotbird and Astra? Unfortunatley I can't go for the diseqc motor as they want one of the LNBs feeding the Sky+ box (at all times) in a different room. What...

Hello, The inlaws have asked me if it is possible to receive Sky+ on their 80 cm dish. The dish currently receives free-to-air Italian channels such as RAI Uno, Rai Due and Rai Tre (I assume therefore it is focused on Hotbird 13'E?) I have seen multifeed LNB brackets (Gibertini) but am unsure...
