Thanks for the reply:Thats exactly what i thought..I always thought you could unplug a hdd all the time with no problems, but this one time its wiped it clean..gutted.

I moved both units, and accidently unplugged usb from hdd. My instant reaction was to plug it back in QUICK, then i realised it had been wiped clean...

Hi, hoping someone can help me...Im thinking of putting my Dreambox and dvd player in a cabinet or cupboard, but im not sure which ir extender will work on the Dreambox 8000hd..Ive read different reviews on 'Marmitek' but if their is anyone out there who can help i would be very greatful...thanks
