Not sure if I am well behind the time, or if this is very new, but I went into add channels today on a DRX595 and it gives the parameters for tuning in HD channels!

Well originally a manufacturer thought 3.6 now saying 3.8m. But using my old rusty triganomitry, calculating using a flat circle (where dishes are concave so difference would be bigger) a 3.6m circle surface area is 42% larger than a 2.7m. Would I really need more than a 42% increase in surface...

Hi, does anyone know where I can look for the viewing figures for Sky TV channels - all on the EPG not just Skys own channels? I have looked at BARB website, but that is total viewing figures from all sources, so it isn't good for pulling out total viewing for each channel as its rounded to one...

Hello bambule666, welcome to the forum. I wanted to try the SMW LNB (quattro), its very expensive as you know, I was unable to find any reviews on it anywhere and I also asked on here if people had any experience of recent LNBs from this company, but not much luck. I didn´t risk buying one...

Fringe, I changed mine which was only 2 years old and got a good improvement (though maybe it was just a better unit - manufacturing tolerances and all that). But with our heat, 4.5 years, its done its work. Its an inexpensive upgrade to fit a new one.

Fringe, remember if your Invacom is a few years old, you will likely get at slightly better signal with a new Invacom, as their performance does tail off over time. Whilst you are doing your checks, can you do them at different times to see when signals are at their strongest and weakest.

Anyone been tracking when the signals are at their strongest and weakest here in the Canaries? I know my signal starts getting weak 6pm onwards and is strongest in the mornings. But has anyone done any detailed tracking?

I have both these models and keep my transponder databases up to date, but its a bit of a drag having to do every thing twice as I can´t copy plans from one to the other as they are different types of machines and I get an error message when I try. Is there a way to modify a STC plan so it...

Got the pack now. Originally thought I may have to fit externally, but it turns out with a bit of maneuvering its possible to fit this large battery pack in the S-2. All working great. Will post some picks. (If anyone else tries a non official battery, its at your own risk).
