Hub is already in another room and upstairs while the receiver is downstairs.
I spoke too soon as well, as I had no signal later last night and this morning still the same!
Why do people waste money in broadcasting a channel which can't be seen properly?
Yep. I've tried other channels and also 'auto channel' and only occasional pixalation on Brit Hits. Others on and off, but better.
Thanks for your help
I've switched my wireless router off and sure enough "Brit Hits" comes through and is fine. "Chart tv" and "The Vault" are still pixilated but at least there's a signal.
I see that the router offers me a choice of radio channels 1 to 13.
It's curently set at 11 which is the default and what...
Has anyone else found that "The Vault" and some other channels are now evermore pixalating or not being received at all?
This applies to the "Brit Hits" channel as well>
Are they all on a weaker transpnder? Have they reduced power/increased compression?
Any ideas anyone?

As was suggested in "What Sat." Sky confirm that they use the memory used for storing "Other Channels" as somewhere to carry out software amendments. This...
Anyone picked up the new channels from Eurobird on 12511 V 3/4 yet?
They're listed on Lyngsat amd mentioned in the current "What Sat." but I've yet to get a signal>
I'm pleased to see that the new "What Satellite and Digital TV" magazine is featuring a letter which raises the disappearing channels problem.
Apparantly they reckon it could be either the Sky use the memory space for software updates or that the boxes periodicaly look for signals from 28deg and...
Thanks for the info. everyone. Looks like it's just something to have to put up with is I'm going to try and just use the SKY+ box!
Out of general interest though, does the same thing happen on the newer "facelift" and SKY 180 + boxes? And what about the standard Sky boxes, do they do the same?
