would always recommend humax/foxsat for ease of use and upgrades. just installed two at my disabled parents house.
though I use the comag hd 100 since currently out of work and had to be on a strict budget.
it now as ITV HD/BBC HD/STV HD too... and Luxe HD.....

ITV/HD in glorious 1085i-25hz... is the way to go on the old comag, no problems on the old firmware either with the instructions I left earlier today. I have had ITV HD with no problem for a little over a month after I messed around with the settings.

I have posted a work around for the comag receiver to update it with ITV HD/hd, and if you do the work around it can also find STV HD too, though STV HD is not always being transmitted and is currently being tested as far as I know... I hope you the best of luck with the comag..

Comag HD Receiver built in editor, if you have a look in the right place, though the editor is not as good as the one that works on the PC in XP.... but if you want to give this a try it may help.
Not forgetting to update and save your channel list to USB/external HDD etc, so you dont mes sup...
Well guys I switched my receiver and tv on today, and I get zilch / zero on every channel. The receiver appears ok... but it now has no signal on every thing... any ideas?
ok woke up today and for some strange and apparent reason I have no signal on all channels on my comag receiver. It was ok yesterday and nothing appears to have changed in any way except there is nothing to watch...lol... any ideas....
Had time to check the EPG out and it needs some improvement, you get about 4 channels viewed on screen of which the channel your on is one of them.
It shows you now and next and a decent description of the programme, on some channels you get 24hr epg on others you just get now and...

Well after what seemed like a eternity I finally tuned the system to freesat 28 degrees...comag HD system is user friendly.
However....an annoying thing is the EPG does not show the desired channel picture to view, though when you have it on menu and search channels you can view each channel...

just a thought checkout comag chd1000 for cheap freesat HD, and it as two card slots and a usb slot to had external memory stick or HDD for PVR function.
