Thanks for the replies guys, a few points. spare motor only has elevation settings on it. old motor was set to 53deg lat. looking at the angle of the motor against the horizontal, 29.5 seems about the same as 53deg angle on the old motor. I'll double check to ensure I am not at 4w. unlikely...

I had the same problem with Multivision and also with a few german channels on 19.2. The problem existed for ages until one day I unpluged the dect phone next to the DM500. They all work fine now.

Can anyone confirm they are getting a picture/sound on this frequency 15W, 11523, 1500, 7/8 on Lost/ABC network. If so what receiver? My DM500 gets the channel at 80% but with no image or sound. My ss2 2.3 doesn't pick it up at all.

Just get a scaffolding pole. Concrete it in a hole in your garden where you have a south view. Get your dish attached to that. It is a lot easier to set up at ground level than getting up the ladder all the time. You can then keep adjusting until you are 100% happy with your signal. No...
