yes to the ALL above, The file on Right contains Cline (can't remember how many KB, not 0) In fact any cfg file will become blank when I transfer it and DM500 and save it

I see blank file ( size 0 KB). so when I transfer file using arrow , it becomes blank. Cfg is present in etc folder in Var.

I have tried transferring the file as you say, and it tranfer OK, but when I save it becomes Blank again!! stange!

When I do copy and paste for cline on the cccam cfg file via FTP (DCC), and save it, the file became Blank!! kept paste and save, but the file is blank when I open it Can you explain?

Manual confirm, a crossover cable is required ( pin2 to pin3, pin3 to pin2, pin5 to pin5). The problem i have that my laptop has no rs232 port, only 4 usb. so I have to use usb to 232 cable( I don't know if it is straight or crossover !!) Unfortunately, It is not working
