    Why does Digital+ broadcast on 19.2e & 30w?

Correct, I meant to say that supporting BOTH Hispasat and Astra is costly. I agree with you that Hispasat would probably be a cheaper option in terms of carriage, but the majority of CANAL+ subscribers were already on Astra before the decision to take HD off of Hispasat, so my guess is they did...

    Why does Digital+ broadcast on 19.2e & 30w?

CANAL+ does not offer HD programming via the Hispasat 30W beam, and although there has been no confirmation from the company, the word on the street is that Hispasat is costing them a fortune to keep supporting. The only reason they still do is that there is a significant enough number of...

    TeleMadridSat 28E

Ah yes, coinciding with Telemadrid's decision to broadcast its now digital-only terrestrial signal outside the Region of Madrid for the next two months following our national analogue blackout, they have decided to hop on to Eurobird 1, making this the third orbital position carrying my regional...

Two fixed LNBs (19.2E and 28.2E) on one dish.

Well, I have a second house in Huelva, southwestern Spain, where I *do* have awesome visibility of any satellite I can think of. I bought the bracket in case I could get 28.2e here in Madrid, and if not, down to Huelva it goes, along with a new dish :)

    TV in Spain

That is precisely right. Biggest complaint over here regarding D+ flat setups is that there is not a lot of FTA unless you get your own dish. Which is not always an option.

Two fixed LNBs (19.2E and 28.2E) on one dish.

Also, I'm curious as to whether I should be able to pick-up Eurobird 1 with the same LNB I'm using for the Astra 2's at 28.2E. I've heard Eurobird and Astra 2 are "co-positioned", but I don't know if me being closer to the equator would have an effect on that. (By the way, how can one edit...

Two fixed LNBs (19.2E and 28.2E) on one dish.

True, once the bracket arrived I was shocked at the problems it could cause me; not only are there gaps, but I'm forced to have an LNB on the arm in order to actually use the bracket (as you can see in the photograph). It baffles me how someone could possibly charge 15€ for this piece of junk...

Two fixed LNBs (19.2E and 28.2E) on one dish.

Rookie here; I just wanted to say I'm currently in the same situation as the original poster, and would like to know if the bracket I bought for this task works (in the attached photo, LNB for 19.2E is the one on the arm, LNB for 28.2E is on the bracket). This bracket doesn't seem to be curved...
