On an 800HD you need to *wait* before reconnecting the power. Can be as much a 5 minutes. Otherwise it stays dead.

Yes all dealings with 800HD is in $ till it's sold to the customer. BTW I paid 300£ for mine :-) (it was new one returned to a dealer, then sent to Dream for a new motherboard and tuner, so he sold it as *used*. It was in perfect condition when I bought it :-) ) This price problem with the 800...
