I suppose the labgear receiver display showing "TV" is just a reminder that you have something being recorded, & thus don't inadvertently change channel.

The Screwfix receiver has a potentially interesting remote button "TV/VCR". Pressing this switches the 7 segment display to "TV", & keeps the video output just the same as before the key press. However, I'm unclear on its purpose, as measuring the voltage on pin 8 of...
& even then tricky to get!
I need to look for a better LNB I think for my 1 metre dish. ISTR reading here about a Physics-defying 0.2 dB LNB? :-) but I can't remember where I saw it. Any recommendations folks at a lowish price please?

Maybe you can find a cheap ( < £20 ) analogue receiver, or maybe borrow one? There's no delay seeing the picture from analogue sat's & I found it much easier to get the dish close, then switch to the digital...
