hi guys
was thinking on buying a motor to attatch to my satellite dish, but just need advise on whether or not my silvercrest sl 65 box will be compatible.
I read in the manual its diseq 1.1 compatible and the motor i was thinking on getting is 1.2....is it ok?
but will a motor work on my dish? and if yes will i be able to recieve the german, UK and italian channels i can already recieve by simply moving it by hand at the moment?
aw mons kif int?
dont have a clue how to answer your question but seeing as your maltese thought id say hi anyway ... i was living in birzebbuga since last year, just came back to scotland recently., where do you live?
dont think it will make much difference mate, being in central europe you should infact get a better reception (not that im an expert), plus i reckon the equipment will be a fair bit more expensive over there.
good luck with it
When i said football i meant for internationals, i.e when scotland are playing bbc1 up here will show it instead of the england match.
So theres no way i could get 2 lnb's and point it towards the astra satellite which sends the uk freeview and the hotbird 13E?
regarding a motor for my dish...
hi guys
At the moment ive got my satellite with one lnb pointed to hotbird 13E, was considering trying to pick up Astra as well as this to benefit from the other german channels as well as UK channels (for football).
Would i be best to get a twin lnb (two lnb's) and if so where is the best...
sorry as im a novice with satellite issues, but have seen some boxes, such as the dreambox which have ethernet ports at the back, can some1 please tell me what these are for? obviosuly they will connect it to a network but what is its actual function for the reciever?
many thanks
hi guys
I know this might seem a stupid question but ive just noticed on the back of my t ewest box a ethernet port, and also saw it on some satellite recievers, obviously this would connect it to a network but what is its purpose? i mean, does it help the picture of the amount of channels...
