Searching on this forum and others I find that there is limited information regarding Jtag and procedures on how to accomplish it. As many people including myself :-DOH! have installed bad or wrong firmware on their stb it seems that Jtag is the only way of solving the solution and yet there...

Does anyone know how to solder a Jtag connector to a Kaon KTSC-570 or any 570 range as I have flashed with bad firmware?.

Many thanks for the reply. The user manual for the CAS3 says that it is equipped to Jtag Dreambox, Manhattan, Xtreme and Nextwave receivers but not Kaon. Where do I find the Kaon-Extreme description to find the similarities as I can kind of see where youi are going with this.

Has anyone got any detailed instructions how to Jtag as this is all new to me. I have to Jtag a Kaon KTSC-570 but I am sure any instructions for the 570 range will be similar. I also have a Cas Interface 3, can I use this in the process? Many thanks in anticipation.:-DOH!

I have made a really bad error and upgraded the above with the wrong firmware. And now it will not accept any upgrade or downgrade or the factory firmware. Does anyone know if there is a cure or have I totally nuked it. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!:-bash

Anyone out there having problems with the latest Sunny firmware. Tps and Multivision freezes on my Kaon KSC 570.
