Folks, I'm thinking of getting a second dreambox which would be located in the same room. My concern is when changing channels the other box will change aswell, can anyone think of a solution to this.

Folks, been using a 7020 for about a month now and all is working fine. Trouble is I have let the wife loose on it and she is having trouble selecting the channels she wants. Some channel numbers have 4 digits and the system will only take 3 so is there a way of setting up favourites etc to make...

Do you need to be able to have different channels in each room. If not you could send the signal via RF to a loftbox and distribute from there.

prodelin, thanks for all your help and info, now had there been any spanish language channels I would have been interested in C band. I guess I could go for it just to have a look ! I take it I would have to get a LNB aswell. Can you get C band channels on a dreambox.

Interesting where would I get one of those and what benefits would I see. I think my dish is too small for C band from what I have read.

He's dissappeared off the face of the earth so can't get hold of him. Seems like alot of the good installers have jacked it in.

I bought it from an installer in Kidderminster, he also did the install. He is not in the business anymore otherwise I would have asked him for assistance.

Thanks for the advice, the problem is I'm not good with heights so I don't think I could do this myself and I don't know where it is located so I may have to get someone to do it for me. I will ask the guy you mentioned to see if he can let me know how to change it.

Thanks for the comments, it's what was called a "Reference Dish" and yes I think they were sold by SCT. On the question of the 90 degree caling could this be causing the problem I am having with the optical sensor as I am getting error messages when I move the dish. If I can't fix it do you guys...

Thanks for the help, I'm not really upto the task of doing that as I can't handle heights and I know it's quite heavy. I guess I really need to get someone to have a look for me or to change the motor, if I can't get it fixed then I was thinking of the Jaeger 1224 motor as it's heavy duty...

This is my pride and joy, took me ages to find one as I don't really like the look of big offset dishes, especially as far round as 43W. Uses a Chaparral motor with optical sensor which is giving me a few problems atm.

Folks, seems like there are alot of experts in this section that may be able to help me, technically my dish is not a FIBO but I have a similar style motor from Chaparral on my reference dish which is playing up, please see the link as I didn't want to post it on this section incase of problems.

Folks, my beloved 1.2M reference dish motor seems to be playing up, it's a chaparral communications with an optical sensor. I am getting motor error on my echostar receiver and ERR2 on my vbox so don't think it's the positioner as I have tried 2 different ones. The error message on the vbox...
