Thanks for that, however I'd still like to understand the file, whether I have valid keys or not :)
If you could still help with this I would be grateful.
Cheers
Hi :)
I am trying to open RTP Madeira, which I believe is part of the TV Cabo package.
Please correct any of my auumptions hehe :)
Evocamd uses 2 key files: Autoupdate.key and Keylist.txt
I think that TV Cabo's Provider ID 4901, and I have found a pair of 16-bit keys and a 128-bit RSA key...
Interesting :)
I just placed another hub at the Dream's end of the cable, then a short cable from that to the box itself and that works perfectly. 3.5Mb/s speeds now :D
No soldering done :)
Maybe someone else could try this and see if it helps?
Hmm well I guess its not so different, I don't know.
FTP is VERY slow, upload stuck at around 5k/s
Why would streaming be "fast" and ftp slow? Maybe because upload is involved for FTP?
Hmm I'm grumpy now. I also don't believe the Dreambox I bought is new.
Hi
My 7020 connects to my LAN perfectly when connected to my old 10mbit hub, but when I connect to either my 100mbit hub or my 1000mbit hub, I can't even ping the box :(
Transfer rate on 10mbit is 500k/s-ish, which doesn't seem to be enough for streaming.
Any ideas?
Just got a 7020 instead, and it is so much more versatile (at the moment) and enigma1 certainly makes 2 look half-baked, as does the manual for the 7020.
I'm glad I've exchanged :)
Hey :)
Ok, I've been doing my homework and decided that a 7020 would be better for me as I don't need 2 tuners and there is much better community support and available files for it.
Rushed home from work (if I get a speeding ticket I'll be grumpy) to find the box waiting for me. When I open...
Thanks for the info.
Its been a while since I set it up initially, I've not had time to do anything to it at all! (deadlines to meet etc :()
I'll have another go soon :)
I have set up my motor and can get Astra 19.2E, Astra 28.3E, Eurobird 28.5E and Hotbird 13E. So far, every other satellite has given no signal quality, even though my receiver reports upto 70% signal.
Hopefully someone will be able to help me got more.
I'm using an 80cm dish, with a 0.6dB LNB...
I have noticed that many channel names, encryptions and providers are written with *'s. Why?
I'm guessing that its to hide these words/names from search engines and the like, but to what end? Do we really want to keep our satellite community to such a select few?
Maybe I missed the point :)...
I hate posting "me too"s but I also need to know this ;)
It seems reasonable to me that the bin/upd files have some keys on them, so shouldn't I be able to edit these files before I transfer to the cam?
