I have been receiving Saorview from a relay transmitter (Greenore) and not Clermont Carn since October 1st! Signal is good and I can use digital text and view RTÉ 2 HD.

TV3 is good for Tuesday night Champions League!

Heard something about TV3 and 3e not being on the new saorsat service any truth in this?

Great big hill in front of the house! Saorview needs 10 foot aerial on top of the house, sat dish would be easier to set up!

Hi folks, just to let you all know, there has been little or no mention of saorsat on any of the 4 main Irish analogue channels. You see the odd ad for saorview. Now RTÉ1 +1 has been launced on saorview. RTÉ are providing full hd coverage for GAA games as well on RTÉ 2 (Saorview only!).

Best idea is to put in a Northern postcode, easy one is BT2 8HQ that was the postcode for UTV year ago, but it will mean you get BBC NI and UTV. Other channels can be tuned manually.

I watch ITV London they show good films after the news at 10. UTV shows brainbox, probably the worst interactive game show ever!

I have recently bought an MPEG-4 tv to pick up any digital transmissions from Clermont Cairn. Plugged in a set top aerial and could not pick up any digital tv. I do not have a rooftop aerial (not yet!) but will have one soon. I do live close to this transmitter but at the foot of a hill which...

I have seen that somwhere will find the link! They are using the 9E slot and a spotbeam to prevent the signal from reaching GB and even Belfast!

Getting RTÉ thru Sky and the rooftop aerial! The world cup was shown on RTÉ after some earlier games being blocked at the start. Think now if the same thing is on ITV and RTÉ it is not blocked. RTÉ showed a football match last night which was on MUTV as well. Does anybody know about RTÉ's...

If you take out a sky subscription in NI you can get RTÉ1, 2 and TG4 as part of the veriety pack only £18 a month. TV3 not available sadly, snowy analogue for now!
