Yeah, what is MII short for? If I'm going to buy one for a reasonable price, I need to at least know what one actually is :-) They seem to get the new files very promptly, which is nice. But I wonder if there is a technical reason for that, or just someone trying to sell more of them...

Hi. I've got hold of a Conax CAM, but I don't have a card yet. When I plug the CAM into my digital box (Manhattan ST2000 CI), it still says there is no CAM installed. Seing as it's just a PCMCIA card, I stuck it in a Windows PC and a Mac as well to see what would happen. Nothing at all...

Just to clarify... the 3.03 will also work with a legit viewing card as well as all these other options, right? And when you say it might not work for long, do you mean they will upgrade to a newer version of Conax or that they'll just change the codes or cards or whatever usually happens...

I'm trying to buy (cheaply) a CAM for viewing Thor at 1W. All the cards on eBay, etc mention their version number - with newer numbers like 4 costing more. So the obvious question is this: What version do I actually need to view the stuff on Thor? The latest version or will any of them work?
