I have a VU+ Solo2 box (with OpenPLi) - How to add a Satellite list with degree and Channels on each satellite. There is no satellite list available, neither channels on each satellite.
How to add satellites to this box?
Also how would I backup the BlackHole image that is currently on the system?
Hi Guys,
I am planning to install a satellite dish system with 1.1 mtr motorised dish. I would like to know channels from which satellites would be available to me.
Would all the channels listed here are available (73°E-0°E) - http://www.lyngsat.com/tracker/europe.html
Also any Atlantic...
Which image for V+ Solo2 ? Would I be able to install ccCam etc default Enigma 2 image or do I have to install another image like OpenPli, Blackhole etc? Which Image would you suggest?
Does the Solo2 has a smart card slot? If not how would I use a card?
Also would the Vu solo2 work just like a freesat stb - I have a TechniSat HD stb and a motorised dish. Would I be able to scan for free channels on various satellites using Vu solo2?
Both are priced £299. I cant spend more than that . So I need a receiver that offers the best value for money.
I have a motorised dish. So could I scan for free channels from various satellites with the above?
Which one offers the best value?
For installing cccam which of the following is best?
1. (DreamBox DM500 HD V2) https://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/en/dm-500-hd
2. (vu+ solo 2 Linux Twin Satellite) http://vuplus.com/productSolo2.html
This is really nice advice. Many thanks Chris_Lucid
There is no space between the sofa and wall at the moment for saving space. I might be able to give a ft max to accommodate rear speakers.
Again rethinking. Would the Denon AVR 1912 be more than I ever need! I now doubt whether I would ever be able to leverage its full power. Also it is 7.1.
What about the pioneer HTP-SL100 slim Av receiver with Speaker Package?

I am looking for my first Home theater system. My budget is around 450. My living room is 6' x 8' in which 42 " TV is placed at the corner. Some of the systems I saw which would stay within my budget were Pioneer VSX-921, Onkyo SKS528, Onkyo HTS 6405, Jamo A 102 HCS 6, Boston SOUNDWARE XS etc...
