Hi all,
I am not happy with my Pani recorder so intend on taking it back. The one thing I do love about it though is that its got an inbuilt RF Modulator - this way i can push the signal to the bedrooms for satellite (satellite into back of recorder!).
I believe the new Pani's have lost the RF...
Hey,
I have this LG DLP TV and bought it around 9 months ago, all fine until this week when I plugged in a NTSC satellite receiver!
Although it will show the NTSC signal in color it's got a yellowish tint to it across the lower half of the screen - its basically not watchable!!! Surely if...
I think I made a huge mistake with Orbit - I bought it cause of Orbit ESPN but its only Sportscenter I watch, as for live sport it sucks really - NASN is far and away the best place for live US Sport in the UK but I got rid of Sky so thats not possible anymore.
Thanks buddy, only took me 6 months, 'O'-red
I have never had to go to so much trouble for anything in my life - if you do a google/yahoo or other and search the words AFN Receiver you will find my adverts all over the web :D
Oh yeh - I never thought of that, :D
On a serious note I have done many weeks of research of PowerVu receivers and am fully aware it needs to be active, otherwise I would be stuffed.
I have a Satellite Atlanta satellite receiver but it only has video out - no RF/UHF out...........
Is there anyway of sending this signal upstairs to an amp (this feedback my bedrooms)???
Currently I have a Freeview box and a different satellite box and they are looped together - then the RF...
Hi all,
I am wanting to get some channels from Hotbird 13 East and I wanted to know if I could use my old Sky dish....? The dish itself was taken down a couple weeks ago and it was used for one year - it was installed for Sky Plus.
Will I be able to use the existing dish and lmb to get hotbird...
The Panasonics will record NTSC fine but as I said I want it to automatically change between the two signals.........I have decided to buy a NTSC to PAL converter for my AFN Satellite Receiver so that the Panasonic Recorder can record PAL from it inbuilt Freeview Tuner and also from the external...
Hi,
I have been having a nightmare trying to find a DVD/HDD recorder that can record both NTSC and PAL - there are a few such as the Panasonics. However - I need one that will automatically change between NTSC and PAL........
An example being - if I go out and want to record at 6pm from...
I am no expert myself but I wouldnt have thought so otherwise it would say modulator.......it also says the words 'loop-through' which is very suspicious as its the loop which I dont want?!
Hi - thanks for trying to help me........the 2 main things it must have are:-
RF Modulator - which this doesnt say it has?
NTSC Recording - which this also doesnt say it does, just mentions PAL as far as I can see.
I have been researching this all day and I am so confused its unreal - found a...
I have been looking for something like this forever - a HDD recorder with digital tuner that will also record from an external source.......in my case an NTSC signal coming from a satellite signal.
This seems to do everything, including the above......also has an RF Modulator which I need...
Its a shame there isnt one machine that can record both Freeview and an external source - I think its crazy that none of them do that! For instance my Humax 9200 would be ideal if it also recorded from a satellite feed!
Hey all,
I currently have a Humax 9200 to record Freeview programs.
The problem I have is there is another satellite receiver which I would like to record from - its an NTSC signal so thats going to be an issue I think...? Also, it has to have an in buit RF Modulator as I am sending the signal...
