Hi, So i got a guy to align it and now i can get 100% quality on all channels. Although it is very fragile with the alignement needing to be dead on or the signal goes to 0. Also replaced LNB and put new cabling in. Thanks for peoples advice

i will get someone out to align it for me again and will post how it goes.... i also thought i should be able to pick it up with a 1.8 m dish but lets see. As timo says astra 4a is very strong

Hi, I live near London and have a 1.8m dish set up towards the 4.8E sirus satellite to get the viasat channels. The problem i am having is that i get 96-98% quality on all the normal channels however on HD channels, some which have the same frequency just a different polarisation i get 0%...

i stayed up all night and i could watch watch everything at 1 in the morning again as it went at 8pm.

ok so if i do not buy a better dish is there anything else i can do?

Titanium 0.2 dB LNB is what i have now, but i am sorry i do not know what an f/d is?

ok well i will buy the lnb you suggested "C120 Universal LNB is Invacom Twin" as i can now see the picture on the channles i want but it just cracks at times so i only need 5 perecnt more signal, do you think that lnb can help me?

it is crap? it is fine during the day but at night does not work, can there really be a big difference between dishes? if so what make should I get, i can only go as big as 1.6 really.

yes what do you mean by proffesional? yes it is solid, but I have to use the viasat box which may not be a sensitive as i need?

Hi I live in surrey, (uk) and have a 1.6m dish with 0.2 lnb, i an get all chanells on viasat during the day but at night (around 8pm) all the vertical channels loose all signal and come back at about 7 in the morning, is there anything i can do to not loose signal, the dish is alligned properly...
