Did you get anywhere with this or is the receiver knackered ? I've got a GBSAT 2 CI but am reluctant to upgrade the firmware in case it blows it altogether. I've seen posts where after an upgrade attempt, the box is only fit for the bin ! If it aint broke - don't fix it.

Yes, I'm using 3.04. I think the problem is that my box is an old 2 CI. I've never seen a firmware upgrade for it on any of the sites mentioned, although there are upgrades for what look like later releases.

I've never been able to get TPS or Multivision on my box - GBSAT 2 CI, using the Dragon, although it picks everything else up ok. I think it's a compatabillity issue. If possible, upgrade the firmware on your box.

I'd say the MM is knackered. I have the same problem, tried everything, including spending 4.99 on a new cable - still 'Cannot connect'. Then foolishly spent 6.50 on a portable loader + that didn't work either. Given up. Not worth time, effort or money. Save yourself a packet + buy a Dragon !

I have a Dynamite programmer + fun card 7. All I do is press the Program Dragon card icon, point it to the .dra file and away it goes. Brilliant. Never failed yet.

Paperman, you are keeping the Dragon cam in the receiver aren't you ? Only take out the loader card - not the cam.

I'm still a newbie to all this, but from what I've read, have you tried cleaning out the firmware you loaded. There's suppose to be some software that does it. Probably from the same site as you got the upgrade firmware from. Then re-load your original firmware back in - if you saved it that is...
