Hi Surfgeek. I'm using a Fortec Star Passion HD also bought from Maplins. The Fortec will certainly let you watch all the channels you can see with a Freesat box (not a Sky Freesat box). What you don't get is the Freesat 7 day EPG. The signal strength of 63% sounds a bit on the low side. Mine...

A couple of days ago Fortec made a new loader and channel list available for download. I haven't tried it (if it ain't broke don't fix it) but they explicitly mention ITV HD in the description. Perhaps they read this thread? :-) _http://www.fortecstar.com/downloads/index.asp?products=101%2C1

Again?! Arghhh! Life is too short. If it is going to take 2 days to get each HD channel working I think I might take the coward's way out and buy a Freesat HD box, especially a PVR. But not until the price drops and a few more HD channels come on stream.

Many thanks for all the support everyone. Ratchet, your channel list also fixed my FTA Channel 4 :-) The Passion had refused to find the channel (8350) despite advanced scan etc. Cheers!
