How do you know the box is OK? I have a Pan 30 that gives no picture or sound but does show the message when you force a download. After the download, it reverts to no picture. Ditto a Thomson 4101. Anyone know a digibox repair man in Cyprus?!

I've just received a Pace 2600 and it is certainly more sensitive than the Panasonic 30 and much more than the 50. For example, at certain times I lose Euronews on the 30 but the Pace just brings it in.

I have an old decoder, Pace Cryptoworks IIRC, which I used when I lived in Nicosia. It decoded for about a week before they changed or introduced a code. this was back in in 96/97. Maybe you could get it to work but why bother. Get a 4.2 like I did from Iceman. Gets 2D a treat!

You can phone from overseas. I called on Monday from Cyprus and my credit card has just been debited. The old P1 card has not been switched off yet and neither does come up with the blue banner. I await the new card with interest!
