Yes, the 6800 is both HD and SD (MPEG2 and MPEG4). Selecting PCM in the Audio menu solved the sound problem. Thanks.

I'll try that, it's set to Dolby at the moment. What does PCM stand for? Is that the TX standard for Freesat HD?

The dish was supplied by a local installer and make unknown, but of the offset design. I believe the LNB packaging read "3B elettronica. Paraver LNBU033B Single LNBF". Seems to have the standard universal 40mm collar.
