ok i just bought on usb to serial, ok suppos it works. but how about the port i mean when i operate the program it will ask to set the port

dose it work if i have usb to RS232 converter any body tried it? because my laptop dosn't contain serial port, and if it is work how can i set the program? i mean which port i have to set

I have a "digitall world" receiver model SFT-5010 I need to know how to upgrade it, I've read that I can upgrade it manually and via a "loader" program in fact I have no idea about both ways. can some body help me to do so.
