Just learning, anyone tell me please why my new receiver (Echolink 7020HD) often freezes up when Auto Scan is selected? Happens at about 20% into a scan. Blind SW Scan is OK and completes, just Auto has the problem. When it happens it can only be reset by rebooting the box. Thanks

Thanks for that you may be onto something there as I have noticed it when going quickly through channels and on the satellites I have there are a number of channels which are the same but on different sats. eg QVC etc . Will try for Intelsat 1 W when I can get the TV off her indoors again.

Thinking about Echolink EL-7020 no point getting another basic receiver I would only want to change it in a couple of weeks, open to advice though possibly Technomate? Would like an HDMI output but perhaps most receivers have that anyway. Otherwise the most convenient & useful box for cards etc...
