Well that is strange...because I live exactly on the null line...and I get a watchable signal on 2e/f/g on my channel master 1.2 from the afternoon until late evening/early morning. In fair weather. So how can that be? Regards

The vu duo2 is ci+ compatible...not officially, but with hacked ci software. It is built in on several images, ready to go. Those who use it says it is working fine.

Thanks for the advise st1. Good to hear that it's normal regarding the loosening fibres. The dish is on its way on a car trailer from Stockholm to Oslo as we speak, but will post some pictures when the mounting starts. Need to source a pretty long 4 1/2" pole, and fabricate a ground and a wall...

Yes, don't really need more than eight feeds, so switching to octo LNB's would suffice then. Just thought there was something to gain on the signal maybe. Well, this has been very helpful, thanks a lot to all who replied! :)
