hi all, thanks shumifan50 for this thread i found this box very stable. i installed the dream-elite BH 1.0 image (without the multiboot) and is working really well and very fast. no crashes to report. remote very sensitive much better than the 8000's. will report further...

@shumifan the USBs are useful for alot of other options - to mention 1 watching vidoes thru a pen drive!! but i agree with you as it seems that this is an excellent box

cams opening this card at the time of writing are oscam and scam myself am using the pcsc reader in an ubuntu server - really stable

hello m8, the dvi-hdmi cable that comes with your 800 has sound. it must be a tv problem or you are using a hdmi splitter. i had a similar problem since my tv came with only 1 hdmi socket output rgds

hi jholmes there are different drivers for the fan ... the 1 i'm using, lets me choose the speed of the fan. once i press calibrate the fan starts to increase revs. once i press exit the fan runs at that chosen speed. it will continue to run until i reboot the box, were i have to recalibrate it...

hi guys this morning i have been testing my other card (0603 _JSR-irdeto) with oscam and smargo. i can report that it works quite well. when the card is in internal slot of my receivers(600/8000) ECMs vary between 0.160-0.175. on my computer and smargo they go up to 0.205 - same with the sky...

@carpet i'm using Oscam + CCcam (212) working with smargo. the nds3 card is working very stable but with slightly higher ECMs (when compared to the 8000/600 - dev/sci0). as you can read from my previous posts i am trying to get my omnikey recognized but till now no go. i read on other forums...
