sorry bro....none of the satellites from the astra group r available or receivable here in dubai....the signal is not only weak but is close to nothing even with a 2 m dish..... ...and hot bird?...u will get all of them....may be u will miss one but u will get around 1700 chanels.....offcourse...

but in the uhf option the no of tv vhannels would be limited and shared by rf connection...here in u-a-e we can get only 19 channels free of the disturbance of the terrestrial signals.

whenever u think u start having problems with the diseqc it is always preferrable to change the cable connectors...this is the first thing to do when u loose signal. but now -a-days most of the switches r coming from china and they dont work for long...here in u-a-e they r so cheap that u get...

which channels it closed? try this may be it helps . go to key menu and press ok on the defaul key or may be u will have to press some color key. then exit and chk the channels . or delete those channels and retune them.
