I have a wireless wanadoo connection in my house. My laptop is wireless but the 500s is hardwired to router. I just put the ip address of the 500 into my laptop, and can load images key bundles etc. Only problem is new laptops do not have aserial port to use dream up. Tim.

is your 500 the atest model. My 1st 500 had the lower powered power supply and it had the same faults. I had to replace it. the only test you can do is loop the 500 through another receiver (any kind) and use the tuner in that receiver to receive channels through a scan. if this works the tuner...

Hi. thank you for the reply, Ihave been advised that some 500's do not have the power to control the positioners sucessfully,As this is my 2nd 500.the first having had problems with the tuner, and burning out transisters on the tuning board. I don't work to over work it. Regards Tim.

By using the remote for left and right to find satellites, and also how to store satellites. By standalone connected by coax with no diseque activated on the dreambox. Cheers Tim

Can anyone help please. I have lost my operating instructons for DP-6600 Superjack. Can anyone elp me to set up motor as a stand alone. I do notwant to use the diseque control with my db 500. I would lke to know how to how to save e/w limits and save the satellite position. Yhanks Tim.

Can anyone helpplease. I have downloaded Satan files to temp folde and used blue panel with Gemini image, but all I get is a blank screen. I hv tried rebooting,but have read that the 500 doesn't like the bin file. Is there any other to get tps to work Thanks Tim
