Haha that is one way to put it, but yea I hope so What is an acceptable amount of backlash, do all motors out of the box have a bit of movement on the arm? Apparently the super jack dg 120 I have has a patent no backlash mechanism, well there certainly is movement which I guess is general...

Yes I do, the back garden but the wife is not happy about it going in the back garden, however I do have children so the dish could get knocked in the garden Anyone else have them in the garden and with kids? Suppose could mount it high ish or is that defeating the object.
