Hi Site Service ! I fully agree and enjoy what you say. I have the same good experience with the TM-9100. All bugs underway to perfect with UR9Beta2 was clearly my own fault, not the tuner's ! I see many unfair quoteings here against the TM-9100. Instead of critizising, please find the right...
Hi! If owner's of the TM-9100 don't study all the info on alsat it's not likely anyone will fully understand it ! The TM-9100 info on alsat is very helpful ! Newest firmware , UR9beta2 is downloadable after you have registrated as a "bete-tester". There's a lot of pdf files that describes the...
My alu 2 meter is seen on the ground awaiting polarmount from Germany. Pole has been ribbed of many add on's from az/el mount, and is "Hammerited" ready for polarmount. A stacked reserve 2 m fiber dish serves as backup if I have to respin the alu 2m ! Spring is the best time for outside dish work!
The best solution in my view, with expansion possebilleties included , is to go for Quattro LNB's and a multiswitch. In this case, all tuner ( from 4 to 8 and ..16 depantet on switch ) will have full independent access to any dish / with Quattro lnb connected. The Invacom Quattro LNB series at...
I have 3 dishes up and running, 85cm.120cm and 150cm, plus two 2m dishes ( one alu and one glassfiber ) and a second 120cm . The alu 2m is about to get strippet from az/el earlier use to polarmount. The reason for originally having so many dishes is: In the south there are many trees and I...
I get BBC-HD perfectly without any side effects. I use Technotrend S2 3200 and the included BDA-Application "TT-Mediacenter". I had already tried with a Skystar 2/ DVBViewer, but Technotrend is better ! Recording/playback BBC-HD is no problem !
But H.264 steals the pc !
3,6Ghz P4

Try thinking in one line at the time. if thats alright. I recommend hardwiring connection to another floor if all other is of less that good quality. The IR can be repited only, but good wire of cable tv quality can be a solution. You can have cable along with separate tuners and multiswitch...
It's common thinking among sat people that all small DiseqC motors are made for windstill only ! Use a solid actuator to move your dish. New actuators are more quiet that old, and have proper strenght. H2H is a joy with a Vbox and a SUPERJACK ( with reed sensor ) !

oh , chech all cablelling ! Many sat acu's has been destroid by bad connections on the 36 volt line ! But let's hope you only have a broken
line, either power or puls cut can freeze the dish !

Hi !
You have to plan what satellites you can receive. These should not be blocked by threes, buildings and nature ! Then you look at footprints from all satelites.( www.lyngsat.com )-.If you can receive a broad opening h2h and many satellites, go for motor, if you can only see a few go for one...
Hi !
If you haven't already sold your Quattro LNB , I'd be interrested to buy it ! I use Quattro lnb's already with great result, sharing all signals independent to 3 pc sat cards and 3 standalone sat tuners.

Hi !
The best way the last years to "share" Lnb's is using "Quattro" heads with four lines to a Quattro switch that can have from 4 to 16 and more outlets. I share all my LNB's this way using tree pc cards and tree standalone sat tuners ! But I have just seen a new solution from spaun.de. They...
