People have miss understood the question I worte. I was wondering whether the receiver can be patched with a null modem cable? with the hot/toh patches? so that keys can be pu to on. Welshboy

Has anyonje got information if you can patch this receiver as it has a serial port on the back of it. Makes me wonder? I believe its a humax receiver. Any help would be appreicated. Welshboy

You don't need a serial to program a dragon loader card, only usb. On 2.6 software under OS menu there should be a dragon loader program within the software. I've used dynamite and never used a serial cable.

A friend of mine is going away on holiday, and has asked if i wanted to borrow his sky system if it was possible. He's going away for a month and doesn't want to pay 40 pounds for an unused service. If i dismantled his system and setted it up at home would there be any problems?
