I just checked the tuner configuration set-up ... Tuner A: BCM4501 (internal) (DVB- positioner:USALS Tuner B: BCM4501 (internal) (DVB- nothing connected ... however the cable is plugged in properly at the back of the DM

It did !! lol only had the DM8k a couple of days...

DM8000 and yes both tuners have their own individual feeds. Dual LNB on the motorized dish.

Advice needed please... I have just set up my HDD and recording my first programme (neighbours for my wife on Astra28e, channel Fiver). However I am unable to view any other programme other than other programmes on Fiver or Fiver +1. All other channels are greyed out and says "no free tuner!"...

BetterCables no longer ship that item to the UK so not available. I will stick to the standard cable ... saved myself £60! lol cheers.

Hi guys, My DM8000 will soon be with me, and I am keen to get all set-up as soon as possible. I know the dvi to hdmi cable comes with the item, but is it any good?? Will I be better off getting an upgraded cable (perhaps custom made)? I have come here from the AVForums ... I do like quality...
