You would probably need bigger dish as 15% is not so little. For Astra 2D I would also recommend an offset dish, because of more shallow beamwidth + offset dish have a little more gain than primefocus of same size. I would recommend a Channel Master 2.4 which is actually 2.66 x 2.5 m in size...

Indeed the footprint by Eutelsat web is not real. On _http://www.satbeams.com/footprints are more real. Here you can see for example why UK have better Sub-Sahara signal than Germany even if it's in more northern latitude.

Quad QDF-031 performs better see my measurements on same transpoder using different LNBs, just check figures. _ttp://www.satelitv.net/jumpto.asp?ref=news&cat=65&id=2768 test were conducted in same conditions, just LNBs were exchanged, so you can get direct comparison in figures.
