no parking in the road? Oh never mind I will park on some one else's drive and wait ten minutes, and go and pick up my children from school!!!!!!

It's a pity I wasn't home, I could of phoned the police! To remove him from my drive!

And sent the photos to the head teacher, who is going to keep an eye out as well as, and I have now been given the phone number of the head of parking enforcement, so next time they are blocking my drive, I can get it sorted!! :)

And I have someone coming to give me a quote, to install a bollard, at the top of my drive, that way no one will get free parking! Especially when I am not at home!

Oh yeah they are given a parking permit to park in the pay and display car park at the side of the school for free! So they really shouldn't be around here.

Invest in a clamp - £200 removal fee and £50 daily storage, the council won't be able to stop you clamping them as its on private land

It's a shame you don't know anyone with DVLA database access, you could have gotten their address and posted them a Parking Notice Charge (which is a bill, not to be confused with a Penalty Notice police and councils issue, although it normally is thought of as just that) or send an invoice for storage after using your land

You'll need prominently displayed notices as well.

I am going to have new neighbours, the old lady next door passed away on Thursday :-(

She would have been 98 in November.

The family have already put the bungalow on the market. (Her funeral is the 23/08)

I thought the sons couldn't sell the bungalow until it had been transferred into there names.

When I inherited, I had to wait for the solicitor to do all the paper work, settle all final accounts with the gas/elec/water/tax man etc.

(Just hope the new people are ok with my dishes)

No, the Grant of Probate suffices to demonstrate the power to sell the house and Transfer Title.

We had a related problem when MiL passed away in that the Property was not Registered.

I sidestepped using a Solicitor and dealt directly with HM Land Registry to both register it and, though we didn't strictly need to, Transfer Ownership to the Executors.

Cost a couple of hundred, as opposed to a couple of gold bars!

Did the bulk of the Execution myself, in the wake of my BiL initially appointing a Solicitor, costing money and time. Turgid.

I usually submit mine pm 6 Apr, but the system seemed incapable of working out my NI 2 liability, in the wake of cessation of the old system.

So I hung on until a couple of weeks ago, then submitted it anyway, despite the NI algorithm still being AWOL.

Can always sort it later.

I like that (Apart from the minor indiscretion of spelling the English Subtitling of "centre" wrong)

Apropos of RyanAir, don't give them ideas: How much time could they save by making you watch the Safety Briefing online before being allowed to access your Boarding Pass?

Every time I've flown with Ryanair, they've done the demo whilst taxiing to the runway. (O'Bleary may well have thought about your suggestion to save even more time and money). However, I think it's probably part of CAA rules to have the safety demo after all the passengers have boarded. Mind you, having once proposed standing passengers, Ryanair isn't exactly one for following rules...
