It's been lightly snowing here today despite the doomsayers claiming heavy snow, last nights snow was pretty much all gone this morning cos it had rained, I doubt the predictions for round here will hold true over the next few days... O-Ha

Well snow stopped play here - or at least work. Got a text this morning to say that school is closed and not to come in. So the Easter holiday starts now!

Cloudy but dry here this morning and 10°C. It poured down all yesterday afternoon and most of the evening but no sign of snow. Spring flowers are still coming through (Celandine, primroses, daffodils etc.) and some hints of blossom on the fruit trees.

Very close to it I think. But it still gets chilly enough of an evening to need the meagre warmth of a flammable peasant or two.......Luckily I still have the Rayburn despite my visitors threat to pack it in her suitcase........don't know what Ryanair would have made of that.......

Been blowing a snowy gale for 12 hours now, hopefully this is the last blast of winter, cos I am fed up of relighting the pilot light on the boiler which is not easy one handed.......
