At some point the sun will be strong enough that warmth will win so instead of a very cold continent it'll be a nice warm land mass. You can bloody bet yer life that the weather patterns will have swung round by then so instead of blowing us a nice hot summer it'll be another damp wet one from the Atlantic. Fed up with being cold now, no sign of it rising above 3C before Tuesday and even the 10 day shows a max of 7C over Easter.

Well, summer this year will either just be a warm wet fart of a season, or it'll suddenly hit and we'll be melting in record temperatures, given that last year was a wet one (and so damned funny how they declared a drought and was promptly followed by floods!!), I think this year will be hot, dry and droughty... O-Ha

I cant see much point opening up the summer bbq thread yet!

Its been snowing oh so gently much of the day, but apart from a bitterly cold wind theres not really been anything exciting going on with the weather here today.

Decent snowfall overnight, with a couple of inches lying this morning.

I have elected to stay in bed to watch F1 Quali and SWMBO has offered (under duress) to bring me a cooked brekkie in bed. Yum.

Just couple of inches here but that easterly wind decided to move my td88 on Thursday night so no sat tv from me until this weather subsides a tad.

A light dusting here since early this morning, still snowing but very small flakes, looks like we shouldn't have too much.:)
