Hm, another issue with TM5402M3 - and something I've had with M1 too - I have a mixture of USALS and 36v motors, so I need satellites to be on different things. However, when I change a motor type for one satellite in TM5402, it changes it for ALL satellites. F15 doesn't do that.
I consider this a bug really... unless there's a way to do this that I don't know about? (without using a PC editor)
Setting up a TM receiver with Several Fixed Dishes & a Motorised Dish
Use the TM Editor from Technomate & do the final settings in there or the ClarkeTech Editor will perform the same actions
Go to satellite setup:-
Astra 2 - set to DiSEqC 1.0 1 of 4
1W - set to DiSEqC 1.0 2 of 4
All my motorised satellites (eg Astra 1) set to DiSEqC 1.0 3 of 4.
On the receiver in Motorised Setting:-
Set all satellites that you want to USALS/DiSEqC 1.3 or DiSEqC 1.2. for Astra-1
Once this is done back up your channel list on a usb stick then save on your PC.
How to do that:-
Backing up and Restoring the channel list on your Technomate
Now you have your channel list saved to a file via a USB stick
Run TM Editor and open the file you just saved.
Then edit the fixed dishes to change the 'DiSEqC Positioner Level' to OFF.
The satellites on the motorised dish do not need changing.
Then save to File.
Then download the modified channel list file to your receiver to a usb stick
The dish will only move when you go to satellites that are on the motorised dish and won't move on fixed satellites.
Warning, whenever you go into motorized settings, and change anything, e.g. adding a new satellite, the whole process will have to be repeated.
The TM Editor is Official Technomate software, and should be available on the Technomate website, if not, 'google' for it.
The ClarkeTech Editor 3.18 performs better than subsequent versions this is what I use,
