What size cxable is it for, that looks like at least 1.25 core.

This one should do it.

Difficult to tell without measuring the connector, either 165 or 233 coax.
The tool in the link will be ok.

Martin - with the WF/CT/PF series of cables the number part refers to the diameter of the centre conductor in millimetres.

In order to maintain 75ohm impedance the other bits are successively larger in diameter and, reading the table above, that CT167 is 10.5mm diameter. Is the plug supplied with the cable? Otherwise you might need to check to be sure it's right.

Thats some lossy coax, (12 dB at 1 GHz) what are you going to use it for?

Standard RG-6 quad for TV signals is 8 dB at 1 GHz, RG-6 quad for satellite systems is about 11 dB at 3 GHz. (all rated at 100 feet)

Think you'll find that's 12db per 100 metres, 12db per 328 feet.

The signal loss for the CT167 is commendably low for the frequencies quoted but it worries me that it stops at 1000MHz. It's probably OK at higher frequencies but there's still that little niggle annoying me.

That's just it the price, they will be even better stuff out there at a price, this cable I will be using if it wasn't for getting it for £50 for the roll I would not be using it, maybe one run if I had to pay the proper price,

From a hobby point of view its dam good cable and its not broke the bank to put all my runs with it :).

You should see how much it costs for waveguide from the dish, almost like gold plated coax.
