Hi all,

read the whole thread with interest! Just wondering if there is any way to edit channel names on this receiver? I have a lot of channels (mainly Premiere premium channels) that are listed as "unnamed" and it causes some confusion!

You can only edit a channel name by scanning the TP in Advanced Installation that has the channel you want to rename, then go down to Channel Name and use the left/right buttons until you get to the channel. Then press OK and rename.

I am very keen to get myself the Echostar 3000 system, and this thread has helped me to a great extent to get to know more about the system. Will post again as owner!

It's a cracking stb, it may be old but still got a few more years in it yet
