Remote control madness !
My 3000 remote is dying and its £70 for a new 1 which isnt really an option, I have bought a universal one does anyone know the code for the echostar ad 3000 viacess remote so I can programme it?

@ mrminibus, don't think you will get all functions with a programable, but you will with this.

Mmm, the English link isn't working

Thanks for that, I bit the bullet and went for it in Dutch last night using paypal, I hope it will be ok as I suspect the postage may be dearer to the UK than the 5 Euros I paid... they have not as yet excepted the payment tho so fingers crossed...

I'm not sure of the difference between the RC3600 and the rc3600
apart from the obvious caps and smalls...

I have a huge problem I need an installer on the island to set up an echostar 3600 to a 36v h-h motor, I have had 2 installers out who have never done 36v echostars before and just wanna sell me a new stb and Diseqc system is their any one out there that can line this dish up and tune this stb in to atlanticbird 3 turksat and hispasat?

as the 3000 is compatible with diseqc motorised dishes but lacks the software to operate them.would it be possible to download the software to the 3000 from the pc with 232 lead. providing its possible to obtain the s/ware on the net

The AD3000 isn't compatible with DiseqC motors. There's no way of changing the firmware to make it compatible - you can't access the chip holding the firmware.

The diseqC 1 in the ES 3000 is only for (multi-room) distibution afaik

Never heard of anyone modding it.
