I have done all I can think of, I also showed you the screen shoots of my box working, with no problems using it set to usals.

It's not I am being funny or trying to be awkward, but I simply don't know what to do now.

My memory must be going :-dohI thought you had changed to the blade 7000 ? And you said it all was working with usals? Or have I just dreamt that?

no, i do have a blade 7000s but its old.. hence trying to get the techmomate to work..
ive even tried older patches still, the blind scan wont work correctly.

Chris, its not like i don't know how to use the 5302 , its that its not working correctly.

it worked for a little but then went back to scanning everything from 10700 to 12750 .. i just don't know ..

If I was you I would go back to my blade, at least that is working.

I just don't buy it, 2 dodgy boxes. Something smells a bit fishy to me.

It is my opinion only, that if the sat card and the 2 Technomate boxes also don't drive or dish properly, then I would be looking at my motor.

Apart from that, I can't help anymore as I don't have any more ideas.

Sorry I can't be of more help. :(

i don't have any issues driving the dish chris.. its JUST blind scan..

after much faffing i have realised that its when i add more than 1 satellite to the system the blind scan doesn't work as it should,
if i have just ONE sat stored.. its fine.. very strange ..

yep, ive experimented at length, and the only way i can get blind search to scan within the parameters is to only have 1 sat on the system,
i Did get 3 sort of working but then it suddenly did not work again !
so i deleted 2 sats off the list, leaving only 1 and viola it works ..

clearly this wont do as i need it for a multi sat setup.
incidentally it doesn't seem to matter if USALS or DiSEqC is enabled or not ..
Any thoughts appreciated Cheers Rob

yes indeed i have, a few times mate, just to eliminate any feed line or dish/ motor issues, its also worth noting that my Blade 7000s works perfectly.. even though, i don't see Anyway an antenna fault would prevent proper blind scanning..

i can see why people would think that though as both the 5502 and the 5302 have the same issue, but remember BOTH were brand new, i think it must be a problem in the last batch of hardware or firmware or something.. suspiciously both of these models were Very recently discontinued.

I would be very happy to realise it was something I was doing wrong,
i would rather look like a bit of a tit and have it working :D

Well the shitty $ky dish would obviously have its own Mti or the like brand LNB so that rules out the dish setup for me mate as you say. Get the c#@p packed up and sent back I'd say, your more than welcome to come over and try the Technomate on my Darkmotor setup but I'd be dumb struck if it magically worked here & not there.

very cool video, i like helis but never see them up close, except the RC type, i used to fly them, and quadcopters etc.. but gave it up as the weather here is crap, also getting very expensive crashing them..( part of the hobby ) :)

the reason i mentioned ham radio is, there's quite a few i know in Paisley
