yes indeed i have, a few times mate, just to eliminate any feed line or dish/ motor issues, its also worth noting that my Blade 7000s works perfectly.. even though, i don't see Anyway an antenna fault would prevent proper blind scanning..
i can see why people would think that though as both the 5502 and the 5302 have the same issue, but remember BOTH were brand new, i think it must be a problem in the last batch of hardware or firmware or something.. suspiciously both of these models were Very recently discontinued.
I would be very happy to realise it was something I was doing wrong,
i would rather look like a bit of a tit and have it working
cheers rob
Try loading my channel list for 42 DTH satellites & 16 feed satellites,
I am using patched software issued on 25th May 2016 this will probably be the last upgrade for this receiver,
I only use DiSEqC 1.3 USALS with these receivers as I have damaged one motor by using DiSEqC 1.2 as it ignores limits & jammed the motor @ 60 west so I will not be going there again,
Move the dish to 10 east now follow this Blind search procedure:-
Select 10 east feedsat
Menu>> Installation>>Advanced search>>m=Now move the cursor to Transponder & press ok>>now select the yellow button Delete All then select Yes
Exit>>Exit>>Blind Search
1st Blind Search 10950 to 11200 in TP Range using H & V polarisation press ok then set the start & finish limit @ 6MHz steps now press the red button to start the search,
2nd Blind Search 11450 to 11700
3rd Blind Search 12500 to 12750
4th Blind Search 11200 to 11450
5th Blind Search 10700 to 10950 only use Vertical Polarisation here.
If you find no active transponders on your 1st scan then select 10 east Eutelsat 10A to move the motor back to 10 east now select 10 east feedsat & start the 2nd Blind Search.
This is a guide to the Active:-=== Ku Band transponders 57 east to 55.6 west Polarization V & H (when both in use none is shown),
(For the UK Ireland & France) Active European Beams received here with a 80 to 100cm dish in the East of England April 4th 2016
Set your Font in Note Pad to Lucida Console / Regular / size 14 you will be able to read the chart as I made it.
