Not feed related, just a bit of help with comparison of freq 21.533 H. AL NASA TV.
This is quite low with me compared to the other signals present and just below lock with me in central UK /North Notts,
Would all that is able to receive 16East Ka have a look at this frequency and give me a report on your levels for it.

Hi John,
Can't check at the moment as my Ka LNB isn't on my dish, but I can confirm this channel is somewhat problematic on a 1.2m Laminas. I cannot gets fluid video on Al Nassr TV no matter how much I tweak... I even wondered if there was a problem with the uplink at one point. I'll have another look tomorrow.

Hi John, is it the Max Hold option in the Advanced menu?
Set to Permanent for a record of maximum peak, useful for comparing a changing signal over time. Not showing well here, as signal is comparatively stable. Blue scan is the permanent, maximum signal, yellow is I think minimum. -

Just had a look at 21533 H and nowt there for me.
A lot of the signals are lower than a few months ago. Used to be able to lock Golfe TV and the Canal 2 International mux, but both now below lock... Possibly a problem my end, I'll have to look into it.

Sorry Llew, where was we .... i got side tracked with other things.
Just wonder what software version you have on yours because i cant see the lnb voltage indicator with the orange bars that you have and i can't seem to bring up the white signal bandwidth marker you are displaying as well. Also, when in spectrum / "signal parameters" screen my bottom line is "Code Rate" , shouldn't there be the options "PLP id" & "TS clock" as well Llew ?.
When i connect to Netupdate it tells me that the instrument is up to date although the software version displayed by the actual instrument says ver: 1.04.582 Jul 9 2012. which seems a little old to me ?
Any thoughts appreciated on this Llew.

Yes, you're way out of date. Looks like you have the original software version, before any updates have been downloaded. The PLP option etc. came several updates back.
I'm on v.20.1 at present, there's a v.20.2 available, but it doesn't have much added that I need for now. Irritatingly, in v.20.1, Signal Parameters (F2 button) defaults to Generic, so I have to keep changing to DVB-S or DVB-S2 for it to start searching a signal's DVB parameters.
Can't you force an automatic update in NetUpdate?
