Nothing to do with me Pal, and in a round about way imho it should be nothing to do with anyone else what you do in your garden, ive put a biggish SH in my garden and it could have been bigger no planning needed but I had to get it for a 1.8 dish:confused. I hope all goes to plan for you Alex:)

Welp, while I am deciding on what to do with the 1m CM, I lashed up a temporary* dish. It's fairly sheltered, sitting between two houses, so there's only a tiny gap, which allows me to get between 28E and 24.5W. It'll do for now.

thanks for the heads up on the 36v motor and adapter plate @CJ... i was considering making an offer on 2 of those motors, 1 for a 1m C.M. and 1 as a spare but now it looks like ill leave it. as regards the adapter plate.. do you think it would be ok with a stronger/well
made plate on the motor or is it a non starter in your opinion?. rgds

Hm, I think with a stronger plate, it would work... but I still have the miscounting issue to deal with and I am not sure why it's doing it. I have a feeling it's something to do with the reed sensor but I haven't looked into it.

Maybe @Costactc can advise better? He has his working without any apparent issues. Maybe I was just unlucky.
