Check out the http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/threads/the-directv-sl3k4nr1-03.162534/ thread, plenty of info there for using one those LNBs. The '03' version seems to be the more sensitive one we find. There's usually one or two available from the US. Search for 'sl3k4nr1-03'

But no picture, I guess it must be data of some sort.

I made a bracket Chris, lowered one of the boom arms on my Channel Master 1.8, so it sits offset by 4 degrees at the side of the Ku, works well.

Find KA LO Freq - KA Freq. Add result to KU LO Freq.

Example:

(21200 - 20035) = 1165 + 10600 = 11765

I was one digit out in previous KU to KA example. 20045 should be 20035

That's an -02 version, can't remember if anyone here has that one. Looks to be OK, four O/Ps.There's an -03 version here, comes with a load of cables, they might add to package costs though. -
