Im considering something similar, but it will have to wait until the summer, the ground is far too wet to start excavating holes into it atm.

Make sure you mark everything up/note its position before you start laser, then if all fails you can put it back to where it was, the first thing I would do is get a spirit level and check your pole both ways, good luck with it and if you get stuck start a new thread someone will be able to help, I use a app on my phone for angles then fine tune if need be :).

If all fails put a post here I am sure someone will be near to you:).

Can someone confirm the Arabic channels on 11014H are on atm. Also zip on Butov & the new DVB-S2 mux on 11174V :(

The Arabaics are normally one of the strongest here but nada on that one, despite adjusting the dish, fitting a new Black Ultra lnb etc..

Getting 11041V 11045H & 11135H fine now

Yes 11014 is there and mux butov changed freq to 2200 but I am not locking it here. GDS is showing harry potter atm along with a radio channel in the back ground lol.

Hmm summat not right in that case.

OT - 55E Euro beam is fairly strong on an offset lnb on this dish!

And now Ive found Ive lost half my bloody 46E channels again....... More tinkering reqd.

Umm that'll be early in the morning here, and Im still getting zip from 11014H!

SQ (1.1m dish with the lnb on the main focus)

11014H - nil
11014V - 75%
11045H - 60%
11073H - nil
11135H - 71%
11173V - nil

Azersat has always been a bit odd up here but this has got me puzzled - 11014H has traditionally been my strongest signal here.

I shall take OH up to her allotment then I shall have a damn good tinker for a couple of hours this afternoon, changing the lnb, trying another dish etc.

11073H is off, instead feed AZE-014 on 11064 H 4444
11174 V 28800, yes that is still on, but seems the weakest of Europe beam now.

Martin that's 11014 V (Ukrainian package), not H (Lebanese package).

Cheers - I'll see if I can optimise for 11174V. Ive had it on this dish before the last set of storms loosened the mount and it drooped forward in the soggy ground.

Im pretty sure its 46E - its on the same frequency as the Azercosmos promo, and its got to be pretty close to 46E as Im using a 1.1m dish peaked up on 46E this afternoon
