Hi pride21,
This test carrier is for Amos 4.It's still active now.
Here's how Ku-band beam on this satellite:

many thanks satesco for your confirmation on that

According to Flysat there´s now channels on 10860V/10915V. These mostly familiar from C-band nepalese/Indian channels using likely India beam. No signal here unfortunately.

Yes I tried them this morning but no luck.

Also no signal.

Can´t believe this...thanks DVBS2/QPSK and low FEC

Hi, it depends on mode and FEC. S2/QPSK 1/2 is locking very low C/N.
What pictures ? You mean pict of some channel? I will make some tomorow,if I get signal...

Yes, I mean picture of some channel. Is it watchable or disturbed?
Seems that FEC 1/2 is most important. Half signal and half control bytes.
I have to try these channels too.

I tried to catch something...unfortunately bad luck

Well, it's pretty windy here, signal unstable ,but I got some pictures with DR.HD. It is right on the limit.
For a watchable picture is needed more than 1,2 , I think .

i found this map --Amos 4@ 65° East---8323b777217ca0768e64b3f57bf505cd.webp

So if these two Freqs are on the Russian beam then not much of a chance of receiving them.

I have very low signal below lock level, so it isn't Russian beam. I had very powerful carriers during tests on the same transponders.
