Lyngsat has TV Cape Verde fta on

11124H 2000 5/6 DVB-S2 QPSK Europe A beam.


Anyone getting it? Its not listed on KoS or Flysat.

Ooh I want this one - its been a long time since I had a new country :D

Weather forecast quite good for weekend so will have to have a good go!

The last new one I remember was ORTC from The Comoros on 10 East. 10840 V 3255. Bit weaker than Cape Verde here 8.5 dB. Do you have that one?

Need to do some rewiring - only got the 7020 hooked up to 7E - so no DVB-S2!

I tried the 7020 loop thru onto a dvb-s2 rx but no go
 
Got 2 concordes in the loft!!

Good reception here on capo-verde on my 88cm mesh dish Signal = 95% Quality = 72% on a TM5302HD

Very unusually I can't get anything at all on my 1m dish :(

Not tried the 80cm yet ........................
 
Booming in full bore on the 80cm too.

@far78: Could it be a low Symbol Rate issue? The signal is gi-nagerous.

I have to assume it is. I'm thinking of either getting rid of my TBS card and replacing with something more suitable for extreme SRs or swapping my ageing Technomate for something that will actually do DVB-S2. My motor has started to develop some backlash too so that may need swapping over again too :mad: Although I hasten to add the signal from 7E is more than strong enough for that not to be a factor here....
 
Well if you really want to watch Cape Verde, don't forget I live at the end of your garden!
 
Tried for this on the motorised set up but a blind scan on the Dr.HD failed to get any results However, after adding the T/P manually, it's now it's coming in at 11.2dB. Guess it could be an issue with the S/R.
 
Is it gone? No signal here for me.
