Anyone having difficulty accessing the forum using Avast Firewall?

Have heard from a couple of people using BT, that they're experiencing page not found errors, although I haven't, using Virgin Media.

Edit Appears it may be a problem with Avast Antivirus and Firewall

No issues for me, Rolf. I believe our FWA provider backhauls into both BT and VM circuits, switchable according to faults, contention etc, so I don't know for sure who I'm using right now!

Well #7 was not showing when I posted #9, I suspect something local to here, but all seems ok now. Found out an hour ago when Skyping my sister in law this evening that lots of things were not working including webcam and mouse and it appears as if some sort of update has gone in automatically and altered permissions on random stuff well it is Win 10 what can I say

Having said that it seems to be happening again

My last win10 update ( thursday ) nothing to do with this creator update, took 6 hours to update due to this update,,,,,, "" Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4013429) "" 1GB on a max 2 MB connection. ( In the meantime incommunicado/ very limited access to the web ) And when it finally loaded used " disk cleanup option " and it took over an hour to clear the 1.3 Tb of win updates.

Note to microsh!t not everyone has superfast BB connections.

Original/genuine win10 PC, am seriously thiking of wiping the HDD with killdisk bootable on a stick ( no CD option) and loading win7.
